The Mighty MuleŽ 500 Single Gate Opener (FM500) America's #1 Do-It-Yourself Gate Opener, has NEW commercial features rarely found in a do-it-yourself gate opening kit.

This heavy duty, commercial grade unit that is very easy to install. It has upgraded commercial features such as "soft start "and "soft stop" that will extend the life of your gate hardware and gate opener. Includes easy to install, "Do it Yourself" kit complete with a helpful installation video and detailed manual so you can install it yourself!

The Mighty MuleŽ 500 Dual Gate Opener is compatible with all accessories including solar panels

Use on solid (wood) gates is not recommended. Solid surface gates have a high resistance to the wind. If the wind is strong enough, the opener will obstruct and stop. For solid gates please see our GTO/PRO SW3000 or SW4000 series.

Have had our gate opener installed for three months now and it's awesome!  I love not getting out in the heat of the Texas summer to open the gate.  It's easy to adjust for incoming and outgoing vehicles and combined with the driveway alarm has increased our feeling of security.
